Wrapped with Love. (Birthday wraps for our girls)

So, we do a lot outside of the blogging world. Many of you know that we debuted our clothing line earlier this summer with a big bash at Dazzling Lounge. Since then, we've been working on broadening are involvement within the fashion/blogging community and its been WILD! We're loving everything that we've been getting involved with and all the people we've been meeting. Its been an amazing start to our journey!

But before we begin to put our pieces out for sale we wanted to show you what we do for our birthday girls who want an FOC touch on their big day! Very small post, but these are two of our friends who decided that an FOC wrap was the way to go for their bday. Let us know what you think!!!

COMMENT...Don't let me get violent! (kidding...)

I know sometimes when we're fashion blog surfing we tend to look for the eccentrics or even the exaggerated...which is nice. Wonderful actually...so don't get us wrong. But sometimes, its almost as though we forget that there's a beauty in dressing just to please your "comfort seeking" self. If you know what I mean.  No pressure to come up with something out of this world. Nothing over the top, but just a well dressed day. Today, that's how I felt. "Well dressed" with a bit of Garcia flair.

The Known Unknown at the Hotbox Cafe: RAWWW

It's ALWAYS a pleasure to support or be involved with anything Tika Simone has her name on. So when I found out about her new "The Known Unknown" project//series, I knew that I'd have to make it out. Not only to support the many talented Toronto artists we've got but to support her at what she does best. She's been so helpful and supportive of me personally and to FOC for as long I can remember.
The event took place at the HotBoxCafe...need I say more? Everyone was in their best and most positive mood while we took in poetry and lyricism from the many talents we've got in the GTA. One being FOC's favourite, JellyTooFly, who AGAIN shut the place down with her performance. I'm not being bias at all, but she was definitely the highlight of the night. KUDOS.
Check out Tika Simone HERE & JellyTooFly HERE.

I felt a little funky Friday night so I decided to play it up. I literally just pulled things from my closet and threw them on. Threw my hair in a messy bun. No thought. All I know is that I LOVE light denim. Hahaha. This is what I came up with....

Tika Simone, MC-ing it like she does.

JellyTooFly tearing it up like she does...

Cropped Denim Jacket: Vintage/ Lace Top: Forever21/ Distressed Jeans: Voluptuous/ Floral print shoes: Forever21/ Hangbag: H&M/ Glasses: Aldo Accessories/ Lipstick: Rose by Sephora
This is me not letting go of summer even though it should be WAYYY colder than this at this time of year. The perks of global-warming. (I'm actually kidding...I'm not making fun of global warming. Haha...no?...)

Don't ask...lol. A part of me LOVES this look and a part of me is saying..."What the hell were you smoking?!" lol
What do YOU think? COMMENT will yah?!!!!!

Autumn Beauty...

It's very seldom that a big girl gets the chance to let everyone know how comfortable she is in her own skin. Like everyone else, Garcia has her own insecurities but size is nowhere near the top of her list. What better way to show that then jumping on the "showing tummy" wagon? That's right...there's practically NO better way. lol. Today FOC decided to push the envelope a little further while enjoying a very warm mid October day. Don't you just LOVE Autumn....UGH. BEAUTIFUL.
PS...For those who can't seem to stand seeing fuller figured women showing tummy...we just want to remind you that FOC has never had the intentions of playing it safe or "dressing for our size"...it is to do the complete opposite while DOING IT WELL. Thank you so much for visiting!
