Today was nothing special but lately I have been feeling so out of it because of work and my hectic schedule, not to mention some body image crisis. Yes even I have those days! Majority of the time I'm completely digging myself lol, but for the last few weeks I haven't been feeling like me. So like the bestie she is, Sasha told me I needed to shut it and get back to me, and that is exactly what I did. After putting this sexy number together I got my mojo back. HA HA... you will see how much booty grabbing I did below.
I am in LOVE with these earrings that I recieved from Knox and Marley. Their stuff makes me go CRAY. I am obsessed with this mesh top I got from Rainbow  (from our latest trip to Buffalo) and I love it even more because it was a steal. The blue body-con skirt and silver necklace are from Forever 21. Fortunately, I also have it in a red. You guys know I love my wedges, so these ones are from Torrid and were only $15.....
yeah I know!!!! To top off the outfit my leather jacket from Rainbow, also a new purchase and my thrifted clutch. Oh and my blue bracelets are from Cuba.

I  want to take time to say Hi to our newest followers!!!!!

Comment why don't ya!!

This is MY body. Why should I be afraid of it?

"You have to be prepared for people to hate you. Average people love to be average, because nobody bothers them." -Kelly Cutrone

To be honest, today was such a monotone day for me. A lot on my mind and a lot to do. I truly believe that listening to Adele can really make a positive day into a not so positive one. Haha. She sure knows how to get you, even when you're not even in her situation. After church today, I decided that I would go into my closet and pick my favorites. NEW favorites, that is. I got these BEAUTIFUL jeans from Forever21. They have leather fringe-like tassels down the sides if you were wondering. My top is surprisingly from Sirens here in Canada. For my girlies and gents that aren't from this side, Sirens doesn't carry plus sized clothes. So this find was like WOAH for me. Garcia was actually the first one to discover this. Amen to that! And the shoes....Lawd have mercy! I FINALLY received these from Shoe Dazzle in the mail. They're called Aubrey...so if you know me, you'll know I HAD to have these...seeing that I'm a Drake fan and all. Come on guys...I'm from Toronto...its inevitable. The earrings are from Forever21 (so cute, eh?), and my forest green nail polish is courtesy of Joe Fresh

You know those people who just like to break the rules? ...I'm not one of them. But, I don't like to follow them either. I'm a big girl. And regardless of what people may think...I'm really digging myself. Life is way too short not to. And although showing tummy, might not be modest enough for some or might be too risky for others, I do so solely for those who will feel better about themselves after seeing it. I will continue to "stand in my truth". I'm encouraging you to stand in YOUR truth today. I am who I am, I like what I like and I do what I do best...

xoxo- Sash.

You like it; you ROCK IT!

"The truth of the matter is, if you want find success outside the norm, you really have to fine-tune your skills and become incredibly good at what you do." -Kelly Cutrone
She couldn't have said it better. I'm a very big fan of Kelly Cutrone and would definitely reccomend both of her books to everyone in the business world striving to become their truest self. Although we shouldn't wait until the new year to make changes, I couldn't help but slip into the tradition by making myself a promise for the year. The promise: Developing ME and remaining TRUE to myself by any means necessary. Sounds easy huh? I've heard the opposite. Wish us luck! Cause I wished the same for Garcia as well!-- Today I felt like proving a little bit of the "truth" through my outfit. I felt playful, sexy, trendy...and the list goes on. So I paired up my new Value Village (thrifted) teal sweater with some black tights from Addition Elle. A pop of colour shall we? That's where my bright orange swede heels from Torrid come in! LOVE THEM.  I added the leopard print head band for a splash of personality.
(Faux Fur Handbag: ALDO/ Necklace: Oddjects (Christmas gift from my bestie, Kyra!/ Earrings: Shauna's Closet)

I'm daring all of you curvy ladies to add your personality to your outfits. Even if you think it's a little much, or a little crazy. If your first instinct was that you liked it...ROCK IT!

Hope you LOVVVESSSS it. xoxo
