Canadiana

What does it really take for you to re-invent yourself? To recreate yourself? To always make sure that you aren't being stagnant in your ways?
Those are the questions Ive been asking myself for quite some time now. And I've realized that the answers are endless. It's completely different for everyone. There really is no right answer. But for me, I tend to always want change. Ever since Ive known myself, I'v known that I am an "overly-progressive" person...if that even makes sense at all. lol. I like to see what I've accomplished, admire and move the heck on to bigger and better things. And that doesn't mean that I'm searching for any approval from others at all. It's really always been about my personal satisfaction. So this year, like many years, I DID NOT make a new years resolution. So no, I'm not a 'plus size blogger trying to lose 50lbs by March and taking all of you on my journey!'...nor am I on a strict celery diet lol. I just want to continue re-inventing myself. All I insist on is improving my quality of life. So come what may, that is the aim.

So why do something ridiculously drastic? You can start re-inventing yourself by simply wearing things you wouldn't normally wear! Fashion is always a way to get yourself into the swing of change! Here I am, falling in love with toques. You would have never caught me dead in anything like this before November of last year. Instead of knocking it, I tried to figure out a way that I could reintroduce it to myself and a tasteful way. And to be honest...I think I found it! It's not everyones "thing". Some people hate it, but DAMN, I'm 22 years old! How much longer do I have to get away with this? LOL Leave me alone why dontchya! I'm loving it so far. So I've gathered (gathering..) my collection and I am going to kill it as long as the Canadian COLD weather permits. I paired it with my faux leather spiked jacket from Forever21, leggings from Penningtons, wedges from Torrid and super cute sequence crop top from Wal-Mart! Tell me how you like it? So glad to be back with you all!
I definitely mean that!

xoxo
