On The Prowl

I've gotten a LOT of amazing feedback since my last post. Alongside that, I've gotten some questions about whether or not I felt that my dress was too short for the "plus size girl" to wear ..etc etc. I'll say this. I knew the dress was going to be short BEFORE I got it. So, with that being said, I had every intention of wearing it as the short dress it was. I do understand that a lot of people are not comfortable with wearing short dresses. I am completely okay with that, BUT with all due respect....I am not one of those people. I don't think there would be a point of me doing what I do if I was going to cater to insecurities that big girls have. I am not ashamed of my legs nor am I ashamed of my body and I don't think you should be either. There was a point in time when I would wear jeans in the hottest of summers, all because I didn't want to show my legs. And at that point I was only a size 10. I wear whatever I want and share it with you because at one point, my insecurities wouldn't allow me to. So now that I've rid myself of that garbage, I will wear every and ANYTHING that makes me feel good. And you should too. Think about the root of the problem. When I realized that my dressing choices were completely geared to what I thought my skinnier counterparts would think of me...I CUT THAT ISH OUTTT. I've got one life to live and ONE chance to be "ME"; so bring onnnn the minis!

I was inspired by the Taylor Swift last week (believe it or not). I was reminded that I am young and that I should be enjoying every moment of my life! In other words, "Why so serious?!" I've included the music video at the very end of this post! I guess I can relate because I too, am 22!

When I saw this dress on ASOS, I snatched it up quickly. I honestly don't know what exactly I loved about it, but what I do know is that its mine, ALL MINE! I wanted to wait until it got a little warmer to wear it so I could show some leg, but obviously I couldn't wait. So I paired it with my Addition Elle stockings and orange Torrid heels. I've already got a LOT of people asking me about my hair on INSTAGRAM (insta name: sashagai). So if you live in the Greater Toronto Area and want to have you're hair done by my stylist, shoot me an email!
How do you like the outfit?
