Transitioning into womanhood means a lot of things. A lot of your opinions are changing. A lot of your goals are either being met or being re-evaluated. And often times...your sense of style takes a turn for the best and sometimes sadly for the worst. Well, for me, just shy of the big 2-5 by 4 months, my style has changed without me even noticing it. In every aspect of my wardrobe, less is indeed MORE. I've learned that a whole bunch of relatively "cheap" pieces put together don't necessarily make for an amazing outfit. Often times it's the core pieces like a great coat or a great pant/jean that REALLY pull you and your look together.
I saw this coat on one of my favourite Instagramers (@LadyShears) some time back and I had to go and find it! Sure enough, Roamans was an online store that I knew absolutely nothing about! They have trench coats of all lengths from size 14W-34W! Oh and colours GALORE. IF you don't understand my excitement you're either not plus size and/or you're definitely NOT a Canadian plus size woman. It is so hard to find a good coat that fits with this length, style and price on this side of the map. So, as expected; I got it. And I am more than satisfied. The high waisted white jeans are another buy from Wet Seal Plus. Such a great fit and definitely something I think every woman should have it their closet. To me, a white jean is JUST AS MUCH of a staple in your closet as a black jean. When you really look at this outfit, it's really just an A-B-C equation. No hidden secrets, no extremely expensive brands...just thought. Sometimes you're better off without all of the bells and whistles. Just round yourself up, do your hair, put on a great coat and throw on your Torrid heels. I promise it'll make for a great day.
